Welcome to Ventura College!

We are pleased that you have chosen to apply for admission to one of California's best community colleges.  After you have successfully submitted your application, you'll receive an email from the college that includes new student information and a link to use in setting up your MyVCCCD student portal.  Your student portal account must be set up before you proceed to assessment testing and matriculation activities.

If you have problems with your application or student portal account, contact our new Ventura College Welcome Center at 805-654-6460.  Our Welcome Center staff and Student Ambassadors will be gladd to assist you.

Ventura, Oxnard and Moorpark College share a common application.  You need only apply at one college to be accepted at all three colleges.  If you have already applied at any of the colleges within the last year, it is not necessary to reapply.

In completing your online application for admission, please double check the accuracy of the information you enter.  We want to be sure that your student record is error-free as you begin your studies at Ventura College.

How to Use the Ventura College Online Application
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the [Next] button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the [Submit] button located on the left column to submit the application.
