The California Community College System offers an Open Admission Policy
A message from the campus:

This online application process is intended for new or returning students. Students continuing from an immediately preceding term need not apply. However, high school students concurrently enrolled in high school and El Camino College must apply every term.
We are now accepting applications online for the Fall Semester 2010, Winter Session and Spring Semester 2011 terms. Students are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Note: If you have submitted an online application to the Compton Educational Center for any open terms; Winter Session, Spring Semester, Summer Sessions and Fall Semester, you do not need to submit another application to El Camino College for those terms. You are cleared to register for classes at both locations. If you are applying for financial aid, please contact the first campus you applied to.
